The Citadel Kenya Medical Camp and Study Abroad Program
Through The Citadel’s Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics, students traveled to Kenya for a life-changing medical outreach program — serving more than 5,000 patients through mobile clinics that provided medicine, vaccines and basic care to those in need.

2025 Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Now Accepting Nominations
The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation was created to ensure that the United States would maintain its leadership in science and technology by supporting some of the very best science, technology, engineering and math college students.




The Citadel’s Swain Department of Nursing is recognizing its newest graduates from its nursing program.
Each October, The Citadel joins other schools around the U.S. to celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a project aimed at increasing awareness of digital safety and strengthening cyber defenses.
Beyond her military service, Brig. Gen. Riedel currently serves as the Deputy Director of the DOD Cyber Institute at The Citadel.
