Programs of Study
The Citadel's undergraduate business program blends four semesters of science, four semesters of English, four semesters of foreign language courses, other traditional liberal arts courses, and upper-level business courses with a demanding on-campus military leadership laboratory - the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. This laboratory teaches self-awareness, stress management, creative problem-solving, communication, motivation, conflict management, and productive use of power and authority. In addition to living and working in this laboratory, cadets also take eight semesters of ROTC courses which emphasize communication skills, military professionalism, ethics, analysis of the defense structure, practice of leadership and management principles, and problem-solving skills.
Students enrolled in the Baker School of Business can choose to major in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or General Business. If they decide on the latter, they can choose from five different Professional Pathways: Management & Entrepreneurship, Professional Selling or Economics.
