Arrange for Additional Services
Depending on the nature of the event, you may need to arrange for additional services. Some of these event services are offered at The Citadel, while other services are provided by an outside equipment company.
Are you renting from an outside equipment company?
All vendor information, requested services, and set-up requirements are to be submitted to the Office of Event Management for approval at least 2 weeks before your event. Vendors must possess a business license and insurance coverage.
For External Groups
Room Setup
Standard indoor banquet tables and chairs (for indoor use only) are included in the venue rental.
Please Contact Us to finalize a floor plan!
Tables and chairs will be set per the approved floor plan. Any requests or changes made on the day of the event may result in overtime setup fees.
Catering
Sweetgrass Catering is delighted to be a part of The Citadel campus community.
Please Contact Us at catering@citadel.edu or 953-6951 for all of your catering needs.
Bar Service
All beverages (including alcohol) served at external events must be provided by The Citadel’s approved beverage service contractor.
Security is required with alcoholic beverage service at the expense of the reserving external group. All security requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to your event.

Multimedia
The Office of Event Management provides basic audiovisual equipment such as a portable speaker, microphones, projector, screen, aux and extensions cords.
If your external event requires more advanced multimedia services, please contact an outside equipment company.
Protection of Minors
If your external event primarily serves minors (children under 18) not accompanied by a parent or guardian, please complete a Protection of Minors Packet.
Email the completed packet to Barbara Hickson at bhickso1@citadel.edu at least 2 weeks prior to your event.

Sales and Solicitation
If you want to sell products (i.e. t-shirts, books) on The Citadel campus, please submit a Sales and Solicitation Form.
An approved Event Inquiry Form (for external groups) is needed is reserve space for sales and solicitation.
Advertisements
No advertising (i.e. posted, distributed, announced, publicized) or suggestion of co-sponsorship/endorsement of any activity is allowed without first having written permission by The Citadel.

For Internal Groups
Room Setup
If you need assistance setting up tables and chairs for your internal event, please submit a work order to the Office of Facilities & Engineering.
You will receive email updates from the WebTMA system regarding the status of your order.

Catering
If you plan to serve food at your internal event, please submit a Catering Order via CaterTrax or contact our catering team at catering@citadel.edu for customized service and menus.
Bar Service
All beverages (including alcohol) served at internal events must be provided by The Citadel’s beverage service contractor.
If you plan to serve alcohol at your internal event, please check the “alcohol will be served” box on the IPC Form. To follow, an Events with Alcohol Form will be sent electronically to you to submit for approval by the Chief of Staff and Public Safety.
