The Veteran Student Success Center (VSSC) will host a new student orientation for all newly admitted Veteran and Active Duty students who started courses at any point in 2026 or plan to start in Spring 2027.
This event will provide students with the opportunity to hear from The Citadel leadership team, ask questions, and learn about campus resources. Additionally, students will have the chance to hear from some of our institution’s faculty members about the various opportunities available to them during their academic careers.

Students will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of various campus resources, including ITS, the Career Center, the Student Success Center, the Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Daniel Library.
11 AM — Boxed Lunch Provided
11:15 AM — Meet our Schools
Hear from each school’s Dean and learn more about their majors, minors, and opportunities to get involved.
12 PM — College Transition Panel Discussion
Hear from current and former students about their adjustment to academic life and their time at The Citadel.
1 PM — Campus Walking Tour
