The Veteran Student Success Center team and the entire Citadel family, understands the challenge of transitioning from military to civilian life and is ready to help our veterans, military service members, and their families access services efficiently and effectively. The school was founded by an act of the state legislature in 1842 as the South Carolina Military Academy, and is proud of its long standing tradition with the military. At The Citadel, our desire is to help those who have served in the military. Our team will help all military-connected students navigate through the process of getting the education they’ve earned and utilizing their VA educational benefits.
