Who do I contact for Canvas support?
Students should first contact their instructor regarding course content and submissions.

What is the recommended browser for Canvas?
Chrome and Firefox are the recommended browsers with Canvas. Canvas supports the last two versions of browser releases. We highly recommend updating to the newest version of whatever browser you are using as well as the most up-to-date Flash plug-in.
Can I use my cell phone to access my Canvas course?
Yes, you can download the Canvas Student App to access your courses from your phone.
How do I contact my instructor?
Instructor contact information is located on the course syllabus. If you cannot reach your instructor through the preferred method listed on the syllabus, you can send him/her an email through the email tool within your Canvas course.
I can’t find or open content in my course.
Contact your instructor immediately if you cannot find course content or assignments.
How do I edit my discussion post?
If you post a reply in error and the option to edit or delete does not appear, please contact your instructor.
I was in the middle of an assignment when I lost everything.
It is recommended that you frequently save your work as you are drafting assignments for classes. We also recommend using a word processing tool (e.g., Word or Google Docs) and then copy and paste the content into your Canvas assignment.
What do I do if I experience issues and get locked out in the middle of a test?
If you experience problems during a test and cannot continue, contact your instructor immediately. When you are taking tests in Canvas, make sure that you do not refresh the browser page, close the browser window or use the browser’s back button.
Do I need to log into a Zoom account to log into a Zoom meeting with my instructor?
Students will be able join a Zoom meeting without logging into a Zoom account. If your instructor used Zoom within Canvas to schedule class times or meetings, you will be able to join the meeting by clicking on the link within your course in Canvas. This will open the meeting within Canvas. If you are using an external link that you received from your instructor, you will be able to join from your browser without downloading software. Simply click the link you received, then click on the "Join from Browser" option in small print.
