Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education
The College Transfer program in Social Studies Education was created to provide students with an opportunity to receive a four-year degree leading to initial Teacher Licensure from The Citadel in the evening. It is the only evening 2+2 secondary education program in the Lowcountry. Graduates who successfully meet the program expectations are eligible for recommendation to the state for initial teacher certification in social studies at the secondary level. Highly qualified social studies teachers are in great demand!
