Faculty who want to deepen their expertise in academic honesty may pursue the Academic Integrity Certificate. This certificate is designed for instructors who want to further strengthen their skills in upholding the highest standards of academic honesty and instructional security. Recipients will develop a robust framework for maintaining integrity in digital and hybrid learning environments.
Certificate Requirements
To earn the Academic Integrity Certificate, faculty must complete a total of three courses:
- Successful completion of the course Adapting Classes and Assignments for the AI Era, reflecting currency in modern instructional challenges.
- Successful completion of training for Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor, ensuring secure assessment environments.
- Successful completion of training for Turnitin Similarity, demonstrating mastery of tools used to promote original work and academic accountability.
Completion and Recognition
All courses are delivered asynchronously through Canvas and include step-by-step tutorials and practical application tasks. To complete each training, you must score 90% or higher on the final quiz.
Upon successful completion of all required trainings, participants will be awarded the Academic Integrity Certificate, demonstrating their commitment to upholding the highest standards of academic honesty and instructional security
