The mission of the Office of Construction Management is to manage all construction and renovation projects on campus. All projects are executed in accordance with the Manual for Planning and Execution of State Permanent Improvements which is published by The Office of the State Engineer.
The Canteen in Mark Clark Hall and The Laundry are two recently completed major renovation projects. Other completed projects include Bernard Gordon Conference Room in Grimsley Hall, the Financial Training Room in Bond Hall, James J. Kerr, Sr. Reading Room in Bond Hall, updated basketball locker room at McAlister Fieldhouse, and Johnson Hagood Stadium East Stands Press Box improvements.
Projects currently under construction include the exterior stucco repair and building envelope renovation to Mark Clark Hall, as well as the renovation of Jenkins and Byrd Auditoriums. Other projects include the Jenkins Hall Arms Room upgraded, Byrd Hall chemistry lab 309, as well as The Citadel War Memorial.
