Dr. Hamp Sherard Math Scholarship

Dear Math Majors and Incoming Freshmen:

The Department of Mathematics and Data Analytics of The Citadel is very happy to announce that the Dr. Hamp Sherard Math Scholarship ($3000) is available to deserving students!

This scholarship is available to all incoming freshmen through (non-graduating) seniors who pursue a BS/BA degree in Mathematics or a BS degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Data Analytics at The Citadel.

Dr. Hamp Sherard
Dr. Hamp Sherard, Class of 1966, is a retired mathematics professor at Furman University after more than 40 years of teaching. He set up this scholarship in addition to his family fund for the Citadel Foundation just for students who are or will be pursuing a BS degree in mathematics at The Citadel and a financial support the most.
