Dr. Hamp Sherard Math Scholarship - Department of Mathematical Sciences

Call for applications of Dr. Hamp Sherard Mathematics Scholarship.

Dear Math Majors and Incoming Freshmen:

The Department of Mathematical Sciences of The Citadel is very happy to announce that the Dr. Hamp Sherard Math Scholarship ($3000) is available to deserving students!

This scholarship is available to all incoming freshmen through (non-graduating) seniors who pursue a BS/BA degree in Mathematics or a BS degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Data Analytics at The Citadel. If you are interested in this scholarship, please complete the online form below.

The form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Please submit your application by 5 PM on August 10^th. If you do not receive a confirmation message, or if you have any trouble submitting your application, please contact me at dedward9@citadel.edu.

Award recipients should be notified by the beginning of the fall semester.

Dr. Hamp Sherard, Class of 1966, is a retired mathematics professor at Furman University after more than 40 years of teaching. He set up this scholarship in addition to his family fund for the Citadel Foundation just for students who are or will be pursuing a BS degree in mathematics at The Citadel and a financial support the most.
