Fall 2025 in D.C.
Seven cadets spent the fall semester in Washington, D.C., taking full advantage of the city as a classroom. Through meetings, site visits and firsthand observation, they explored how government works. Even the federal government shutdown late in the semester became part of the learning.
During the semester, the cadets met with longtime and new partners at the embassies of Canada, Oman and Georgia, along with policy experts at public policy institutes and think tanks across the political spectrum. They also visited the National Security Archive at George Washington University, the National Cryptologic Museum and the International Spy Museum.
They traveled to Antietam Battlefield with a CIA historian, gaining a deeper understanding of intelligence operations during the Civil War. Cadets also engaged with companies developing emerging technologies and the teams responsible for managing geopolitical risk and private-sector intelligence.
