Exercise Science leads to EMS career
When Samuel Hymes, ’25, switched his major to exercise science and began working as a student athletic trainer, everything clicked into place. His academic performance improved and new opportunities followed. He earned a Summer Undergraduate Research Experience award and became the author of a research manuscript and co-author of another. His involvement with the First Responder’s Club led to a job offer with Charleston County EMS.
