Zucker Family School of Education Celebrates Statewide Cohort Completing College Admissions Counseling Microcredential
The Zucker Family School of Education celebrated its latest statewide cohort of school counselors completing the College Admissions Counseling Microcredential. The six-week program is supported by a grant from the Lowcountry Graduate Center.
Led by ZFSOE professor Tara Hornor, Ph.D., the microcredential provided professional development in college admissions counseling best practices, the use of big data and artificial intelligence in admissions counseling, and strategic enrollment management.
The statewide cohort included 29 school counselors representing 10 counties: Anderson, Berkeley, Charleston, Clarendon, Darlington, Georgetown, Greenville, Fort Mill, Horry, and Lexington.
