Mrs. Lauraie Zealy provides executive administrative support to the Dean, coordinates general administrative, business management, and or support activities for The Zucker Family School of Education including the logistics management for the annual Wall of Fame Celebration and bi-annual Zucker Family Education and Innovation Forum. She currently serves as member of the Institutional Planning Council (IPC), served as Treasurer for The Citadel Staff Council (AY2019-2021), and is a South Carolina Notary Public.
Mrs. Zealy has spent the early part of her career in the private business sector within manufacturing, automotive, and the aeronautics industries, covering the many areas such as assembly, machine tool & die, research & development, claims, replenishment, and distribution. In 2012, Mrs. Zealy found a new calling to finish the latter part of her career in the public service sector within The Citadel’s Zucker Family School of Education.
Mrs. Zealy received an Associate Degree in Applied Science, Information Technology Specialist with Certificates in Database, Internet Programming, Microcomputer Expert User, and Microcomputer Business Application, as well as an Associate in Arts in Business Administration from Trident Technical College. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude from The Citadel’s School of Business, a Master of Science in Project Management from The Citadel’s School of Engineering with a Graduate Certificate in Technical Project Management (GCertTPM), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Citadel‘s Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business.
