Welcome to the Zucker Family School of Education
The Zucker Family School of Education (ZFSOE) at The Citadel is a “full service” school of education whose purpose is to provide high quality programs in the preparation of K-12 teachers, educational leaders and school counselors. We support learners at every stage of their journey offering cadets majors and minors, degree completion programs, graduate programs and veteran and active-duty programs, designed to fit a range of professional goals and life experiences.
Our faculty are actively engaged in local school districts and regularly contribute to their disciplines through research and scholarship. Our alumni are serving in leadership roles in education and related disciplines all over the state of South Carolina and beyond.
Through personalized instruction, applied learning and strong community partnerships, we connect theory to practice, ensuring our graduates are prepared to make an immediate impact in their schools and communities.
