Navy ROTC at The Citadel

Welcome to the homepage of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) at The Citadel!
The mission of the NROTC program is to develop young men and women morally, mentally, and physically, and to instill in them the highest ideals of honor, courage, and commitment. The program educates and trains young men and women for leadership positions in an increasingly technical Navy and Marine Corps.

Current Operations
Our midshipmen are training across the globe this summer! Navy Battalion students are completing fleet cruises with the Navy that include unique experiences with the Surface Warfare, Submarine, Aviation, Expeditionary, and Special Warfare communities. Marine Corps contingent students are participating in summer training events like Officer Candidate School (for rising seniors) and Fleet Marine Force/CORTRAMID (for rising juniors and sophomores).
Summer training events give midshipmen direct exposure to the operations of the Navy and Marine Corps. Check out some of the pictures below!
