Cadets Earn National Impact Award
Cadets McKenna Magin, Banks Scarpa and Dylan Horne represented South Carolina Theta at the Alpha Epsilon Delta Centennial National Convention in Birmingham, Alabama. Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national honorary society for health pre-professionals.
During the convention, the cadets participated in professional development workshops focused on interview preparation, application strategies and networking with pre-health students from across the country.
The students also presented a poster highlighting the growth and impact of SC Theta. The chapter received the National Impact Award and a $2,500 prize, recognizing the breadth and depth of its programming, service initiatives and commitment to preparing students for careers in the health professions.
The Citadel Medical Camp also drew significant attention from attendees.
