Baker School of Business Supports Veteran Entrepreneurs

Leaders from the Baker School of Business and the South Carolina Veterans Business Outreach Center recently joined entrepreneurs at the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs Entrepreneurship Forum aboard the historic USS Yorktown.

Hosted by the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the forum brought together experts and business leaders to expand opportunities for veteran-owned businesses.

Panels explored scaling growth, access to capital, government contracting and the role of artificial intelligence. SC VBOC Director CJ Williams led a discussion on practical strategies, and BSB professor Mark Rosenbaum, Ph.D., shared insights on how AI is reshaping small businesses.
