The Citadel hosts second OSINT Conference
The Citadel’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, led by the departments of Intelligence and Security Studies and Political Science, hosted its second Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Conference. Participants discussed artificial intelligence, open-source intelligence and its use in addressing national security challenges facing the United States.
Attendees included members of the U.S. military, intelligence, law enforcement and diplomatic communities, along with private-sector sponsors, leaders in the OSINT field, and academic colleagues.
Keynote speakers were Michael Glenn Driscoll, a U.S. Navy cryptologic veteran who retired after 34 years in technical and senior leadership roles within the Department of Defense and National Security Agency, and George Friedman, an internationally recognized strategist on global affairs and founder and chairman of Geopolitical Futures, a company dedicated to forecasting the course of the international system.
