Completing this application allows the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to match students with scholarships. We encourage all students to also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be use alongside our own application.

With this semesters mid-terms in the rearview mirror, it won’t be long before you start thinking about Fall 2023. It is never too early to start planning ahead. In order to receive federal aid and some Citadel scholarships you need to file a FAFSA for every academic year.

The Citadel is proud to offer up to 25 tuition grants to active duty service members that are enrolled in one of The Citadel’s online undergraduate programs. To help minimize out-of-pocket costs, the tuition grant will cap tuition at $250 per credit hour.

HEERF III Final Disbursement
The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) as authorized by the American Rescue Plan, was signed into law on March 11, 2021. It provided The Citadel with $3,315,771 in higher education emergency relief funds for student grants. The funds are targeted to give students cash to cover their expenses related to higher education or for emergency costs that arise due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
