Cadets taking top honors in the fall of 2017: Gold Stars
Gold Stars are awarded to cadets who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher for the work accomplished in the Fall Semester of 2016. Members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets who received the honor are as follows:

Fall Semester 2017 Dean's List is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester. In the case of cadets, the medal is worn on the cadet uniform during the following semester.

Prof. Adelman Receives Award, Releases DVD

adelman-awardProfessor Saul Adelman received the 2011 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Scientific Research at an Undergraduate Institution in recognition for his work on the chemical composition of stellar atmospheres. More information can be found in the Citadel News Release. Prof. Adelman has also produced a DVD of Great Astronomical Images.
