Elise Browning, MBA, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. In addition to teaching at The Citadel, she is a Financial Strategist at Martin & Browning, a franchise of Ameriprise Financial Advisors, LLC.
Dr. Browning’s teaching experience includes courses in business policy, ethics and social responsibility, data-driven decision-making, professional communication, and ethical leadership and organizational behavior.
Elise is a Rotarian and currently serves on the board of directors of the Children’s Museum of Aroostook County. Her academic work has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of General Management, and Business & Society, among several others.
Elise was born near Montreal, Canada. She holds an MBA in strategy (McGill University) and a Ph.D. in strategy and social issues management (Bentley University).
