The sport management program’s mission is to educate and cultivate strong-minded leaders to master sport for positive changes in our modern society.
Program Description
Our mission aligns with the core values of health, integrity, leadership, respect, and service. The program advances the education of our students through the continuous pursuit of teaching, research, and service. Our program’s innovative curriculum leads students to the acquisition of skills, knowledge, and competence for graduate-level education and leadership positions in professions of the global sport industry, such as interscholastic and intercollegiate athletics, recreation, amateur, and professional sport organizations.
The Department of Health and Human Performance also offers a Minor in Sport Management.
