The Citadel Live Mascot Calendar is more than a calendar. It’s a celebration of the traditions, milestones, people, and programs that make The Citadel unique.
Through our annual Sponsor-a-Month Program, departments have the opportunity to partner with the Live Mascot Team to create a featured calendar photo that highlights their contribution to the cadet experience while supporting one of the College’s most beloved ambassadors.
Why Participate?
For a sponsorship contribution of $50, your department will receive:
- A featured Live Mascot photo connected to your department, program, service, club/organization, company, or tradition
- Recognition in the annual Live Mascot Calendar
- A complimentary calendar for the department head
- Automatic entry into the annual Best in Show Competition
- Plus the opportunity to earn campus bragging rights and take home the coveted Best in Show Ribbon
How It Works
Sponsor a Month – Reserve one of 10 available calendar months.
Create a Photo Concept – Work with the Live Mascot Team to develop a fun and creative idea that showcases your department.
Take the Photo – We’ll coordinate a photo session featuring the Live Mascot and your department’s theme.
Be Featured – Your department will be recognized through a custom photo and caption in the annual calendar.
Compete for Best in Show – All participating departments are automatically entered into the annual Best in Show Competition.

Best in Show Competition
Every sponsored department is automatically entered into the annual Best in Show Competition.
The winning department receives:

- December 15 – Sponsorship Commitment Deadline
- January 5 – Photo Concepts Due
- January 31 – Photography Complete
- February 28 – Calendar Submitted for Printing
