Active duty military students are first accepted into the Marine Enlisted Officer Commissioning Program (MECEP) or the Navy’s Seaman to Admiral-21 Program (STA-21), or other approved education/commissioning program. After being accepted to The Citadel, they attend classes during the day and participate in ROTC training with cadets. They wear their military uniform to class but live off campus.
