Graduate Students

Important News:
  • Don't forget to periodically check your Lesesne Gateway account to view your charges and the status of your Financial Aid. 
  • The 2013-2014 FAFSA is available online. This is the application you'll need to complete for the 2013-2014 academic year.

You must complete or renew the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - (FAFSA) every year. You can complete the application as soon as January 1st for the following academic year. Example: For the 2013-2014 academic year, you can file as soon as January 1, 2013. Complete it online for faster processing. School code: 003423

For New Direct Loan Student Borrowers:

  • Direct Loan Entrance Counseling is also required
  • Your Master Promissory Note can be signed online.
  • New Direct Loan borrowers must get a PIN from the Department of Education to sign promissory notes. The pin number is the same number used for completing the FAFSA online.

Graduate Assistantships are available in many college departments. The Citadel Human Resources Department recruits graduate assistants and matches candidates with positions. Please file your application with the Human Resources Department.

The South Carolina Teacher Loan may be a good option for you if you are a student completing your initial certification or a professional looking to change careers in order to teach.
