Complete Your Nursing Degree at The Citadel
The Swain Department of Nursing offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program is dedicated to growing the next generation of nurse leaders through learning in a caring environment.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with a "C" or better in all math and science courses. Applicants with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 - 2.99 may be considered for admission.
The program is designed and offered to enable the full time student to complete the upper division of the program and receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in five semesters. Courses and clinical experiences are in the evening with an occasional clinical experience during the day. Evening clinicals start at 3pm.
The evening division is divided into five semesters.
- Nursing science and the science behind illness.
- Care of the healthy adult.
- Care of the acutely ill adult.
- Care of special populations.
- Care of complex patients.
