The Honors Program builds community through small discussion-based classes focused on intellectual discourse. The Distinguished Scholars Program prepares top upperclass cadets for post-graduate international fellowships and study at prestigious institutions. The 1842 Program involves cadets in specialized individual mentoring opportunities focused on leadership.

In “All Hands on Deck: Edward Steichen and the WWII Naval Photographic Unit,” the newest exhibition in the Moore Art Gallery, visitors are invited into a human-scale view of World War II.
The President’s List is one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel. It indicates excellence in academics and military duties.
Gold stars are awarded each semester to cadets and students who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher.
