Bio:
Theolanda Vann joined The Citadel Military College in 2022 as Clinical Adjunct Faculty in the Swain Department of Nursing. Theolanda started her nursing career as a RN graduate from Trident Technical College in 2009. During her time as a nurse she has worked on a Medical Surgical Unit. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from South University in 2016. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education (MSN) from Capella University in 2023. Her nursing career continued on a medical surgical unit where she functioned as a full time charge nurse and preceptor to new graduate nurses while mentoring clinical groups during their biweekly rotation on the medical surgical unit. In addition to her medical surgical unit role, Theolanda served as adjunct faculty for Trident Technical College Associate Degree Nursing program (ADN) from 2017- 2022. Currently, Theolanda is employed as a full time Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and Travel Program Coordinator. In this role she oversees the coordination of efficient, safe, and timely care to all patients in the program. She also fills in as a Medical surgical Charge nurse on an as needed basis.
In Theolanda’s free time you can find her shopping, traveling, and spending time with family, especially her precious grandchildren.
