Level Up with an MS Leadership from The Citadel
The Citadel’s Master of Science in Leadership program provides education to enhance the ability of students from any academic background and level of professional experience to perform effectively as principled leaders in their present or future leadership roles.
The program utilizes a holistic approach achieved through interdisciplinary and integrated courses to engage students in comprehensive learning about leadership in applied contexts. Designed for those seeking initial leadership positions or career progression in one’s current employment, this flexible, accredited (SACS) program is an excellent fit for working professionals seeking online education.
Classes are taught in the 100% online by our distinguished faculty who bring their strengths of real-world experience and research-informed insight to the program. Through core leadership courses, relevant electives, and a capstone experience, students can tailor their curriculum to focus on their individual and career interests.

Applying to the MS Leadership Program
Candidates can apply at any time during the year. Accepted students can begin their studies as soon as the next available term. New course terms begins in August, January, May, and June/July.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, the GMAT requirement is waived for candidates completing applications through May 2022.
The Citadel’s distance learning courses are optimized for online instruction and reviewed for quality using best-in-industry standards. You will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues and complete guided instructional activities in our online courses. Faculty also enjoy meeting with and supporting online students using Zoom and other technologies. The convenience of distance learning allows working professionals and military service members to pursue an MS Leadership degree from any location, without interrupting their careers.
