Department of Cyber and Computer Sciences

Welcome to the Department of Cyber and Computer Sciences!

Our mission is to prepare students to meet the computing demands they will face in their careers and as knowledgeable citizens. Through academic programs, research, and public service the department supports the disciplines of cyber and computer science and the growth and development of educational opportunities in the Lowcountry.

We offer an undergraduate degree: the B.S. in Computer Science, and three undergraduate minors: (1) Computer Programming, (2) Cybersecurity, and (3) Management Information Systems, and a graduate program: M.S. in Computer Science (jointly with the College of Charleston). We offer two an undergraduate degrees: the B.S. in Mathematics and the B.S. in Computer Science, and five three undergraduate minors: (1) Applied Mathematics, (2) Applied Statistics, (1) Computer Programming, (2) Cybersecurity, and (3) Management Information Systems, and . We also offer three a graduate programs: (1) the M.S. in Computer Science (jointly with the College of Charleston), (2) MA in Education (with major in mathematics), and (3) MA in Teaching (with concentration in mathematics, offered via the School of Education).
