I chose to come to The Citadel to challenge myself and extend my limits. Little did I know I would find exactly that and so much more. The Citadel experience is like many things in life, it’s what you make of it. I am confident that the lessons learned, the bonds forged, and the experiences I have had will enable me to lead in the future.
The Citadel
There are about 2,400 undergraduate students who make up the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. 82% of Cadets receive financial aid, and over 88% are employed at the time of graduation. Students can choose from over 30 Majors, 50 Minors in five academic schools, with an accelerated medical program. The 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio and 95% of faculty having PhD’s (or the highest degree offered in their discipline) guarantees students a quality education.
