Coming to the Citadel Band as a group of individuals, the fourth-class system and the opportunities the school provide retunes the members of a class into a band of brothers working in harmony towards a common goal. From the esplanade of the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo in Scotland, to the base of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. We have journeyed far and wide to become the kind of men and women our younger selves would be proud of. The opportunity to work together in concert to become a Citadel man or woman, is a privilege we are all proud to earn. I for one am excited to continue to grow as I serve as the Regimental Drum Major and the Band Company Executive Officer in my senior year.

The Citadel
There are about 2,400 undergraduate students who make up the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. 82% of Cadets receive financial aid, and over 88% are employed at the time of graduation. Students can choose from over 30 Majors, 50 Minors in five academic schools, with an accelerated medical program. The 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio and 95% of faculty having PhD’s (or the highest degree offered in their discipline) guarantees students a quality education.
