I wanted a military structure to help develop my confidence and leadership abilities, preparing myself for the future. When looking through various colleges, The Citadel stuck out the most. The Citadel
There are about 2,400 undergraduate students who make up the South Carolina Corps of Cadets. 82% of Cadets receive financial aid, and over 88% are employed at the time of graduation. Students can choose from over 30 Majors, 50 Minors in five academic schools, with an accelerated medical program. The 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio and 95% of faculty having PhD’s (or the highest degree offered in their discipline) guarantees students a quality education.
