The Graduate Certificate in Student Affairs, with a special focus on an ROTC cohort option, is designed to provide valuable professional development for personnel focused on student support roles like recruiting, advising and student support services.

The ROTC cohort is particularly suited for personnel who wish to deepen their understanding of student affairs and collaboration with other ROTC professionals. The 100% Online Program covers key areas such as student development services, student affairs leadership and college admissions counseling, which align well with the mission of ROTC programs.

Our 8-week courses offer flexibility for those balancing military commitments, allowing you to earn your certificate quickly and efficiently.

Requirements for Admission to the Certificate Program

  • Online Application: Complete the graduate application and pay the non-refundable fee.
  • Official Transcripts: Submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, including your bachelor’s degree and any graduate coursework.

Program Requirements

The Graduate Certificate in Student Affairs consists of four core courses (12 credit hours) that cover key topics in student services, student development, historical and contemporary aspects of higher education and administration.

These courses are also part of the M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership, so students who later wish to continue their studies in the M.Ed. program will already have a strong foundation.
