Bio
Paul White serves as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting, bringing real-world expertise into the classroom. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare, media, technology, construction, and private equity, he bridges academic theory with practical application to prepare students for today’s business challenges.
Outside the classroom, Paul is a Managing Director in Cherry Bekaert’s Advisory Practice, a nationally recognized Top 20 accounting and consulting firm. His work centers on helping organizations achieve profitable growth through strategic advisory services, leveraging technology, process improvement, and data-driven insights.
Paul began his career in audit and consulting with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in New York City before advancing into senior finance roles—including CFO and CEO—at both private and public companies. He also founded and led a consulting firm serving private equity, healthcare, construction, and media clients.
He holds an MBA in Taxation and a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and maintains CPA (Inactive) and CGMA credentials.
