Leslie Hill graduated with her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University in 2016. At Florida State University she taught many undergraduate courses including introduction to research methods and methods of offender treatment and was the director of the internship program. Her research interests are prison programs, prisoner reentry, program evaluation, quantitative statistics and undergraduate education. For her dissertation she studied the impact of prison-based dog training programs on inmate misconduct, post-release employment and recidivism. Her work can be seen in the Journal of Offender Rehabilitation, the Journal of Criminal Justice Education and New Library World.
