The Veteran Student Success Center (VSSC) will host a new student orientation for all newly admitted Veteran and Active duty<\/strong> students who started courses at any point in 2025. This event will provide students with the opportunity to hear from The Citadel leadership team, ask questions, and learn about campus resources. Additionally, students will have the chance to hear from some of our institution’s faculty members about the various opportunities available to them during their academic careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 AM — Check in and Mingle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:30 AM — Welcome and Introductions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 AM — Resource Round Robin
Students will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of various campus resources including ITS, the Career Center, the Student Success Center, Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Daniel Library.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 AM — Boxed Lunch Provided<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11:15 AM — Meet our Schools
Hear from each school’s Dean and learn more about their majors, minors, and opportunities to get involved. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 PM — College Transition Panel Discussion
Hear from current and former students about adjustment to academic life and their time at The Citadel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 PM — Campus Walking Tour<\/p>\n\n\n\n
