Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/financial-aid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Office of Financial Aid &amp; Scholarships<\/a> website for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-blue-ribbon-program\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blue Ribbon Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Citadel is proud to offer up to 25 tuition grants to Active Duty service members that are enrolled in one of The Citadel&#8217;s online undergraduate programs.  There are an additional 25 tuition grants for Active Duty enrolled in one of The Citadel&#8217;s online Graduate Degree programs. <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/financial-aid\/scholarships\/active-duty-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blue Ribbon Program for Active Duty<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-south-carolina-free-tuition\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">South Carolina Free Tuition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provides for free tuition to the children of certain war veterans attending South Carolina state supported colleges and universities, as well as state supported technical education institutions. up to $5,000 for dependents of veterans with a VA disability rating of 50% or higher<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The American Legion Legacy Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship that helps cover remaining educational expenses for eligible dependents of fallen post-9\/11 service members and veterans with a VA disability rating of 50% or higher after available federal and state financial aid has been applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Child, legally adopted child, stepchild, or eligible dependent of a U.S. military service member who died while on active duty on or after September 11, 2001<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OR<\/strong> child, legally adopted child, stepchild, or eligible dependent of a post-9\/11 veteran with a Department of Veterans Affairs combined disability rating of 50% or higher resulting from an injury incurred on active duty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High school senior or high school graduate accepted to or attending an accredited U.S. college or university<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Apply: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legion.org\/legacy-scholarship-application\">https:\/\/www.legion.org\/legacy-scholarship-application<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item\"><details><summary class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item__title\">Army Emergency Relief <\/summary><div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Army Emergency Relief (AER) provides numerous  scholarship for higher education and personal certifications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.armyemergencyrelief.org\/scholarships\/\">Click here for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item\"><details><summary class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item__title\">Army Women&#8217;s Foundation Legacy Scholarship<\/summary><div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Award:<\/strong> Varies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. Army Women&#8217;s Foundation Legacy Scholarship supports the educational goals of Army women and their lineal descendants through scholarships for certificate, community college, undergraduate, and graduate programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Woman currently serving or honorably served in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard, <strong>or<\/strong> a lineal descendant of a woman who served honorably in those components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must meet the academic requirements for the applicable scholarship category:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Certificate Program:<\/strong> High school diploma or GED with a minimum 2.5 GPA; enrolled in or accepted to an accredited certificate program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Undergraduate:<\/strong> Enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university; completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Graduate:<\/strong> Bachelor&#8217;s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA;
