This is helpful in cases in which a student regularly receives a refund of financial aid or receives other refunds, such as those resulting from overpayment. A common cause of overpayment is dropping classes and\/or labs after tuition has been paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once direct deposit&nbsp;is set up, all refunds will be directed to the student&#8217;s checking account. With this option, students will receive refunds 24-48 hours after the refund is generated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up direct deposit, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log into <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/my.citadel.edu\">My Citadel Portal<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Locate the Student Business Services card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click &#8220;Make a Payment and Review Billing Information&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. You will be redirected to TRANSACT PAYMENT portal page. You will then need to Click on &#8220;<strong><em>I agree&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. You will then be redirected to commerce.cashnet.com, our online billing and payment portal. From the Menu in the left column &#8211; select &#8220;<strong><em>My Account<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.&nbsp;In the \u201c<strong><em>Direct deposit refunds<\/em><\/strong>\u201d section, select \u201c<strong><em>Sign up<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.  You will then need to Agree to the terms and conditions by entering your Student ID as your electronic signature and then click on &#8220;<em><strong>Continue<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.
