Natosha Mitchell Johnson

Corps Grad ’02

Natosha Mitchell JohnsonI graduated from The Citadel with a degree in business, and I currently live in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with my husband (Andrew Johnson, former quarterback at The Citadel) and my 2 children; Jordan, age 10, and Zoe, age 1. I work as a bodily injury supervisor at The General Insurance where we are in the process of opening a new Atlanta branch for the company.

How do you think your experience at The Citadel got you to where you are now?
I learned that I am stronger than I thought and can handle anything placed in front me. I gained a different type of confidence in myself while dealing with the many challenges of being a cadet and athlete at The Citadel.

Why should young women consider attending The Citadel?
It is a challenge unlike any other. You will form friendships with people that, had you been at a regular college, you may have never met or spoken to. It creates bonds with other cadets that are going through the same thing that can never be broken while also receiving a quality education.

Johnson was also featured in the 2013 edition of Women's History Month.
