CGC Grad ’05
I am currently the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine at The Citadel. I also teach a few classes in the HESS Department. I am originally from Utica, New York, and I completed my undergraduate education at Appalachian State University. I finished my master's degree at The Citadel in 2005 in Health, Exercise and Sport Science.
What is your favorite memory from The Citadel?
My favorite memory occurs every year at Recognition Day. The Sports Medicine Department provides medical coverage for the event and we are in the Battalions when they announce the 4th Class System is no longer in effect. The smiles on the freshmens’ faces give me goosebumps every single year.
What about your time at The Citadel had the most positive impact on your career or life?
The Citadel is a great place to network and develop professional relationships. Each year I am exposed to new experiences such as research and committee involvement. The Sports Medicine Department services the entire campus in some aspect so we are able to develop relationships all over campus. There are some great individuals who work at The Citadel!
