Donald Trump and Senator Tim Scott to be honored at Republican Society’s Patriot Dinner
Celebrating 40 years, The Citadel Republican Society presents its 2015 Patriot Dinner at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Holliday Alumni Center on The Citadel campus. The Republican Society is the largest cadet club on campus with more than 300 members. Each year the society works on various campaigns, supports conservative causes, and gives back to the community.
During the Patriot Dinner, the society will honor U.S. Senator Tim Scott for his work on behalf of the state of South Carolina and the nation, as well as Donald
Trump for his work as a legendary business leader and philanthropist. The Patriot Dinner is an annual fundraiser that supports the club and its trip to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. each year. Every year since 2008, The Citadel has sent the single largest school delegation to the conference, which gathers over 13,000 conservatives from across the country.
Tickets are $60 a person or $110 per couple. Reservations can be made online here and limited tickets are available. Members of the press seeking credentials must contact Cadet MSG. Lance Cook at lcook2@citadel.edu as soon as possible.
