Sixth annual trebuchet competition attracts students from 100 schools across the southeast
Distance, accuracy, design and spirit awards were presented to students for their achievements during the 2016 Storm The Citadel Trebuchet Competition on Saturday.
Co-hosted by Google and The Citadel’s School of Engineering, along with the STEM Center of Excellence, the Zucker Family School of Education and School of Science and Mathematics, the sixth annual Storm The Citadel brought teams from across the southeast to the campus’ Summerall Field to test their medieval launching devices, known as trebuchets.
