Dr. Kaelyn Leake
Dr. Kaelyn Leake obtained her PhD. in Electrical Engineering in 2015 from the University of California while she got her Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Science and Physics in 2009 from Sweet Briar College, Virginia.
Before teaching at the SFSSM Physics' Department, she worked at Sweet Briar College in the Department of Engineering and Physics as an Assistant Professor in which she taught Dynamics and Kinematics, Electrical Circuits, Modern Electronic Technology, How it Works, Designing a Sustainable Future and Properties of Materials.
Some of her publications include: "Design thinking as part of the core curriculum at Sweet Briar College" in 2019 and "Explore Computer Science and Engineering" in 2018. In addition, she has recieved several awards Outstanding TA Award, University of California, Santa Cruz, 2013-2014, QB3 Keck Fellowship, University of California, Santa Cruz, 2009-2010, and George H. Lenz Excellence in Physics Award, Sweet Briar College, 2009.
