Senior Chief Jazmin Lavar Davis
Command Senior Chief (CMDCS) Davis, a native of Saluda, South Carolina enlisted in the United States Navy in November 1997. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Hospital Corpsman “A” School, and then attended Field Medical Service School in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
His shore duty assignments include: National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, Maryland, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, Branch Medical Clinic Parris Island, South Carolina, and Naval Medical Center Camp Lejune, North Carolina.
Sea duty assignments include: USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51), 2nd Marine Division, and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72); Forward deployed Joint Task Force GTMO, Cuba and Expeditionary Medical Facility Kuwait.
Command Senior Chief Davis is an honor graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 187, Gold) and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 199). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards) as well as various unit and campaign awards. He has earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Air Warfare Specialist, and Fleet Marine Force-Ground Combat Element Warfare Insignia.
He is currently the Command Senior Chief of NROTCU, The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
