Time Sheet Procedures


  • Each department should have a departmental time keeper.

  • Each non-exempt and temporary employee will use a time clock or the web to clock in and out.

  • The departmental time keeper is responsible to make corrections and enter leave for permanent non-exempt employees. The time must be verified and approved within 1 business day after payday.


  • Non-Exempt employees (on a time sheet) should complete a leave request form. The employee and supervisor should sign it. The payroll copy of the approved leave slip should be given to the departmental time keeper.

  • Exempt employees (not on a time sheet) should enter leave on the LAR system under one-stop desktop.
