Rebekah Burke

Rebekah D. Burke, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP BD+C is an Assistant Professor of Construction Engineering at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Dr. Burke was previously the Director of Sustainable Design for Clark Nexsen, a full service Architecture and Engineering firm, where she also began her career as a structural engineer. She was a founding board member, and the first chair elect of the Hampton Roads Green Building Council. Dr. Burke has presented to many professional organizations, and served on number of task forces, review boards, and committees, often in a leadership role, in service to the architecture, engineering, and construction profession.
