Height and Weight Screening

BODY COMPOSITION

Cadets are screened for compliance with body composition standards twice a year.  Body composition screening involves height and weight screening as well as body fat percentage.  If a cadet exceeds the maximum allowable weight for his/her height, a waist circumference measurement will be taken, and if the cadet exceeds the waist circumference standard, a body-fat screening will be conducted.

If the cadet meets maximum allowable body fat percentages they will be listed as physically proficient.  If a cadet excceds height and weight standards AND maximum allowable body fat percentages, that cadet will be enrolled in the Commandant's Physical Remediation Program.
