Colonel Myron C. Harrington, Jr., USMC, Retired
Background
Retired Marine officer and educational administrator, Colonel Harrington is experienced in the areas of strategic planning, fiscal oversight, leadership development, and accreditation policies and procedures, provides a generalist perspective to his board responsibilities. His many years as secretary to the board have provided him with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the myriad of challenges facing The Citadel and higher education. Colonel Harrington’s command and staff experiences, his non-profit independent educational experience, and his Board of Visitors experience provide an excellent background for oversight of college policies, structure, and infrastructure needs and requirements.
